Why do you need a resume?
Resume's/Curriculum Vitae's are imperative in todays market place... why? well they are your silent sales person when you are applying for a job in todays market.

There are sometimes hundreds of applicants for a single position being advertised and a resume allows these potential employers the opportunity to screen applicants before conducting interviews. If 100 people applied for a position, the employer may reduce this to a list of 20 people to call and conduct a phone interview and then from this list conduct only 5 or so actual face to face interviews. This is a ration of only 5% of applicants actually getting to the interview process... Your resume can be the difference of getting a phone interview or now...

Can you make your own resume?
Yes. Of course you can do your own resume. You don't have to pay someone to do your resume, but it may pay for you to do a little research in order to ensure you have created the best silent salesperson you can in order to ensure you will get a higher chance of getting to the interview stage.

You would do best to ensure you include some minimum information such as:
- Your objective
- Your employment history from most recent to oldest with dates and locations
- Your educational experiences including any out of school tuition or specialty training courses completed
- Your hobbies and personal interests, but keep it professional
- 2 referees with contact information, or simply type available upon request.

This is the core information that would be lease expected and should be on at least 2 pages. Remember to be concise in delivery though.

Why would you pay us to do your resume?
